Gini Perri, founder of Gini Perri Services

Hi, I’m Gini.

I help growing businesses support their people without making HR more complicated than it needs to be.

Before launching Gini Perri Services, I spent years leading HR inside fast-moving, operational businesses. Most recently, I served as Director of HR and a member of the executive leadership team for a high-growth company with more than 120 employees across corporate and 24/7 frontline operations.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported organizations ranging from small startups to companies with more than 500 employees across consumer services, restaurants, technology, and frontline operations.

My experience includes recruiting, employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, compliance, benefits, reorganizations, workforce changes, and building HR processes where little structure previously existed.

I’ve worked through many of the same challenges my clients are facing now: growth happening faster than the processes can keep up, managers who need real support, hiring that cannot slow down, and limited time and resources to get it all done.

I know the difference good HR can make. I also know how frustrating it is when HR feels overly corporate, unnecessarily complicated, or disconnected from how the business actually operates.

That never felt right to me.

Why I started GPS

I started Gini Perri Services to give founders and growing businesses access to experienced, practical HR support in a way that actually fits their needs.

Not every company needs a full internal HR department. But most reach a point where employee questions, hiring decisions, compliance responsibilities, and manager challenges become too important, and too time-consuming, to keep handling on the side.

That’s where I come in.

I bring senior-level HR experience, but I’m also a roll-up-my-sleeves kind of consultant. I’m not here to hand you a list of recommendations and disappear.

I help write the policy, build the process, coach the manager, work through the employee issue, organize the hiring process, and make sure the work actually gets done.

I don’t just tell you what should happen. I help you make it happen.

Who I work with

I support growing businesses that need experienced HR help but aren’t ready, or don’t need, to build a full internal HR department.

That may mean:

  • A founder is still handling most employee questions.

  • HR has landed with an operations or finance leader.

  • Managers need more support and structure.

  • The business is hiring quickly or inconsistently.

  • An internal HR leader is on leave or the company is between hires.

  • A specific people project or employee challenge needs experienced attention.

My background is especially relevant to startups, small and growing businesses, frontline teams, operational environments, and companies working through growth or change.

My approach

My approach is practical, personal, and clear.

I focus on what will actually work inside your business, not what looks best in a textbook. I take the time to understand how your company operates, what your managers need, and what your team can realistically maintain.

Because GPS is not a giant consulting firm, you get me. You get someone who learns your business, knows your team, gives you straight answers, and stays involved in the work.

Everything I build is designed to be useful and sustainable. Policies should be understandable. Processes should be easy to follow. Managers should know what to do next.

Good HR should not create more work. It should help your business and your people do better work.

A little more about me

Outside of work, I’m a wife, twin mom, and reality-show junkie. I’m usually hanging out with my family and planning our next adventure or telling myself I’m only going to watch one more episode.

I’m based just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, and work with growing businesses both locally and across the country.
